zwei wunderschöne Seelen auf der Suche nach ihrem Für-immer-Zuhause

Buna und Buena wurden von ihrem Besitzer einfach bei uns abgeladen, nachdem sie ein Huhn getötet hatten. Als sie ankamen, waren sie in einem erschütternden Zustand – nur noch Haut und Knochen, völlig ausgehungert, schwach und übersät mit Zecken. Dass sie sich irgendwann aus Verzweiflung selbst Nahrung gesucht hatten, war kaum verwunderlich. Das Video ihrer Ankunft ging damals viral und berührte viele Menschen zutiefst:

Buna und Buena haben sich inzwischen wunderbar erholt, gut zugenommen und sind mittlerweile kastriert. Aus den völlig abgemagerten und erschöpften Hündinnen sind zwei wunderschöne, sanfte Mädchen geworden, die nun endlich erfahren sollen, wie sich ein richtiges Zuhause anfühlt.

Ob die beiden Mutter und Tochter oder Geschwister sind, wissen wir nicht. Buna ist etwas größer und wirkt auch etwas älter. Sie begegnet neuen Situationen zunächst etwas vorsichtiger und zurückhaltender. Buena, die kleinere der beiden, ist offener und freut sich sofort, wenn sie Menschen sieht. Doch sobald das Eis gebrochen ist, zeigen beide das gleiche liebevolle, freundliche Wesen und genießen die Nähe zum Menschen sehr.

Mit anderen Hunden sind sie verträglich und insgesamt sehr angenehme Begleiterinnen. Beide sind stark am Menschen orientiert und werden mit Sicherheit eine enge Bindung zu ihren Bezugspersonen aufbauen. Sie wünschen sich Menschen, die ihnen Sicherheit, Wärme und Liebe schenken und bei denen sie endlich ankommen dürfen.

Buna und Buena können getrennt vermittelt werden, auch wenn es natürlich wunderschön wäre, wenn sie zusammenbleiben dürften. Uns ist bewusst, dass dies nicht einfach ist – am wichtigsten ist jedoch, dass beide endlich ankommen dürfen.

Wer schenkt diesen beiden besonderen Mädchen die Zukunft, die sie so sehr verdienen?

Wir wünschen uns für sie ein liebevolles und geduldiges Zuhause, in dem man ihr mit Ruhe, Fairness und Einfühlungsvermögen die Grundlagen eines erfüllten Hundelebens vermittelt.

• Befindet sich aktuell in Rumänien und darf ausreisen, wenn sie ein Zuhause gefunden hat.
• Reist gechipt und geimpft (EU Impfpass; Impfungen: Tollwut und Grundimmunisierung).
• Alle Hunde werden bei ihrer Ankunft im Shelter sowie anschließend mindestens einmal jährlich gegen Darmparasiten und Ektoparasiten behandelt.
• Die geschilderten Verhaltensbeobachtungen basieren auf dem Alltag im Shelter und können sich in einem häuslichen Umfeld unter veränderten Lebensbedingungen entsprechend anders darstellen.

Two beautiful souls looking for their forever home

Buna and Buena were simply dumped here by their owner after they killed a chicken. When they arrived, they were in a heartbreaking condition—nothing but skin and bones, completely starved, weak, and covered in ticks. It was hardly surprising that, out of desperation, they had eventually gone out to find food on their own....

Buna and Buena have made a wonderful recovery, gained a healthy amount of weight, and have since been spayed. The once emaciated and exhausted dogs have transformed into two beautiful, gentle girls who are now finally ready to experience what a real home feels like. 

We don’t know if they are mother and daughter or siblings. Buna is a bit taller and seems a little older. She tends to be a bit more cautious and reserved when encountering new situations at first. Buena, the smaller of the two, is more outgoing and immediately lights up when she sees people. But once the ice is broken, both show the same loving, friendly nature and really enjoy being around people.

They get along well with other dogs and are, overall, very pleasant companions. Both are very people-oriented and will certainly form a close bond with their caregivers. They are looking for people who will give them security, warmth, and love—people with whom they can finally feel at home.

Buna and Buena can be adopted separately, although it would of course be wonderful if they could stay together. We realize that this isn’t easy—at the very least.We realize that this isn’t easy—but what matters most is that both of them finally get the chance to settle down.

Who will give these two special girls the future they so richly deserve?

We wish for her a loving and patient home where she will be taught the basics of a fulfilling life with calm, fairness, and empathy.

• Is currently still in Romania and may leave when she has found a home.
• Will travel microchipped and vaccinated (EU pet passport; vaccinations include rabies and basic immunization).
• All dogs are treated for intestinal parasites and ectoparasites upon arrival at the shelter and at least once a year thereafter.
• The described behavioral observations are based on daily life in the shelter and may differ in a home environment under changed living conditions.
