Jade – von der Angst zurück ins Leben 🖤🐾

 

Jade ist seit zwei Jahren bei uns im Shelter – und diese Zeit hat sie fast ausschließlich an einem einzigen Ort verbracht: in einer Hütte.

24/7. Zwei Jahre lang.

 

Sie kam aus der Tötung zu uns, voller Angst und völlig gefangen in sich selbst. Für Jade gab es lange nur einen sicheren Platz – und das war diese Hütte. Kein Rausgehen, kein Erkunden, kein Vertrauen. Nur Rückzug.

 

Irgendwann war klar: So darf es für sie nicht weitergehen.

 

Wir haben Jade aus diesem Kreislauf herausgeholt und sie zu Julia in den Wohnwagen gebracht – ein geschützter, ruhiger Ort, an dem sie zum ersten Mal anfangen konnte, sich von all dem zu erholen. Und Jade hat diese Chance genutzt. 💛

Ihre Entwicklung ist beeindruckend und berührt uns sehr.

 

Heute ist sie ein fester Bestandteil von Julias Rudel. Sie ist noch immer zurückhaltend, aber nicht mehr panisch. Sie zittert nicht mehr und sie verbringt ihren Alltag nicht mehr versteckt in einer Ecke. Sie geht raus, bewegt sich, nimmt am Leben teil.

 

Man kann mittlerweile ganz selbstverständlich an ihr vorbeigehen, ohne dass sie panisch aufspringt oder flüchtet. Wenn sie liegt oder schläft, bleibt sie einfach liegen. Dinge, die für viele Hunde selbstverständlich sind, sind für Jade riesige Fortschritte.

 

Jade ist stubenrein und lässt sich anfassen – auch wenn sie Nähe noch nicht wirklich genießen kann. Aber sie lässt es zu. Und das ist ein großer Schritt. Jetzt ist Jade an einem Punkt angekommen, an dem es im Shelter nicht mehr weitergeht.

 

Sie braucht ein Zuhause.

Menschen, die sie mit Geduld, Zeit und Verständnis weiter begleiten. Die nichts von ihr erwarten, sondern ihr zeigen, dass sie in ihrem Tempo ankommen darf. Dinge wie Kommandos oder Alltagstraining stehen aktuell nicht im Vordergrund – es geht darum, dass Jade weiter Vertrauen aufbauen und die Welt kennenlernen darf.

 

Wir sind unglaublich froh, dass Jade diesen Schritt geschafft hat – von einem Leben in völliger Angst hin zu einem Hund, der wieder Teil der Welt sein kann.

 

Jetzt fehlt nur noch das letzte Stück ihres Weges.

 

Wer gibt Jade diese Chance? 🖤

 

  • aktuell noch in Rumänien und darf ausreisen, wenn er ein Zuhause gefunden hat 
  • gechipt und geimpft (EU Impfpass; Impfungen: Tollwut + Grundimmunisierung)
  • Alle Hunde werden bei ihrer Ankunft im Shelter und danach mindestens jährlich entwurmt und entfloht.

Jade – finding her way back to life 🖤🐾

 

Jade has been with us in the shelter for two years – and during that time, she spent almost all of it in one single place: inside a hut.

24/7. For two whole years.

 

She arrived from a kill shelter, deeply fearful and completely withdrawn. For a long time, the hut was the only place where she felt safe. No exploring, no movement, no trust – just hiding.

 

At some point, it became clear: this couldn’t continue.

 

We took Jade out of that cycle and moved her to Julia’s caravan – a quiet, protected space where she could finally begin to recover from everything she had been through. And Jade took that chance. Her transformation is truly remarkable.

 

Today, she is a steady part of Julia’s pack. She is still reserved, but no longer panicked. She no longer trembles and no longer spends her days hiding in a corner. She goes outside, moves around, and starts to take part in life.

 

You can now simply walk past her without her panicking or running away. When she is lying down or sleeping, she stays relaxed and doesn’t feel the need to flee. Things that seem small are actually huge milestones for Jade.

 

Jade is house-trained and allows human touch – even if she doesn’t fully enjoy it yet. But she accepts it, and that is a big step.

 

Now Jade has reached a point where the shelter can no longer offer what she needs.

 

She needs a home.

People who will continue her journey with patience, time, and understanding. No expectations – just guidance and the space to grow at her own pace. Training and commands are not the priority right now; building trust and discovering the world are.

 

We are so grateful that Jade has made this progress – from a life of complete fear to becoming a dog who can be part of the world again.

 

Now she just needs someone to take the final step with her.

 

Who will give Jade that chance? 🖤

  • chipped and vaccinated (EU vaccination certificate; vaccinations: rabies + basic immunization)
  • All dogs are dewormed and deflead on arrival at the shelter and at least once a year thereafter.
