Julius, geboren ca. 2021, kastriert, ca. 35 cm Schulterhöhe, im Shelter seit 10/2025

Julius wurde an einer Kette gehalten, bevor er zu Maria ins Shelter kam. Seit etwa drei Monaten ist er nun bei uns – und zeigt sich als unglaublich lieber, verschmuster und freundlicher Rüde. Er sucht viel Nähe, ist anhänglich und trotz allem auch aktiv und interessiert.

Julius hat eine Besonderheit: Seine beiden Vorderbeine sind deutlich deformiert. Ob er Schmerzen hat, können wir nicht sicher sagen, aber ausschließen lässt es sich nicht. Unser Tierarzt sieht aktuell keine Möglichkeit zur Korrektur, doch vielleicht könnte ein anderer Spezialist noch helfen. Trotz seiner Einschränkung bewegt sich Julius tapfer und zeigt viel Lebensfreude.

Charakterlich ist er ein Schatz: menschenbezogen, sanft und freundlich – und mit einem kleinen Jagdinstinkt, denn die ersten Tage hat er voller Eifer die Ratten im Stroh vertrieben.

Julius verdient ein Zuhause bei Menschen, die ihn so annehmen, wie er ist, und ihm die Chance geben, endlich Wärme und Sicherheit zu erleben.

Wir wünschen uns für ihn ein liebevolles und geduldiges Zuhause, in dem man ihm mit Ruhe, Fairness und Einfühlungsvermögen die Grundlagen eines erfüllten Hundelebens vermittelt.

• Befindet sich aktuell in Rumänien und darf ausreisen, wenn er ein Zuhause gefunden hat.
• Reist gechipt und geimpft (EU Impfpass; Impfungen: Tollwut und Grundimmunisierung).
• Alle Hunde werden bei ihrer Ankunft im Shelter sowie anschließend mindestens einmal jährlich gegen Darmparasiten und Ektoparasiten behandelt.
• Die geschilderten Verhaltensbeobachtungen basieren auf dem Alltag im Shelter und können sich in einem häuslichen Umfeld unter veränderten Lebensbedingungen entsprechend anders darstellen.

Julius was kept on a chain before he came to Maria's shelter. He's been with us for about three months now – and has proven to be an incredibly sweet, affectionate, and friendly dog. He seeks a lot of affection, is very clingy, and despite everything, is also active and curious.

Julius has a unique feature: both of his front legs are noticeably deformed. We can't say for sure whether he's in pain, but it can't be ruled out. Our vet currently sees no way to correct it, but perhaps another specialist could help. Despite his limitations, Julius moves bravely and shows a great zest for life.

He's a real sweetheart: people-oriented, gentle, and friendly – and with a little hunting instinct, as he eagerly chased the rats out of the straw during his first few days.

Julius deserves a home with people who will accept him as he is and give him the chance to finally experience warmth and security.

• Will travel microchipped and vaccinated (EU pet passport; vaccinations include rabies and basic immunization).
• All dogs are treated for intestinal parasites and ectoparasites upon arrival at the shelter and at least once a year thereafter.
• The described behavioral observations are based on daily life in the shelter and may differ in a home environment under changed living conditions.
