Meda wurde völlig abgemagert gerettet – ein Bild, das niemanden unberührt lässt. Trotz allem, was sie vermutlich erlebt hat, hat sie sich ihr sanftes Wesen bewahrt. Heute lebt sie bei Georgiana und zeigt sich dort als ruhige, freundliche und liebevolle Hündin, die einfach nur ankommen möchte.
Die kleine Hündin ist bereits sterilisiert und versteht sich sehr gut mit anderen Hunden sowie mit Katzen. Meda gehört nicht zu den Draufgängern – sie ist eher vorsichtig und beobachtet neue Situationen zunächst in Ruhe. Hat sie einmal Vertrauen gefasst, zeigt sie ihre zarte und angenehme Art.
Sie hat eine verkürzte Rute, die ihr keinerlei gesundheitliche Probleme bereitet. Eine Einreise in die Schweiz ist dadurch jedoch leider nicht möglich.
Für Meda wünschen wir uns ein liebevolles, geduldiges Zuhause mit Menschen, die ihr Zeit geben, in ihrem eigenen Tempo anzukommen. Menschen, die sie mit Ruhe, Fairness und Einfühlungsvermögen begleiten und ihr zeigen, wie schön ein sicheres und behütetes Hundeleben sein kann.
- Befindet sich aktuell in Rumänien und darf ausreisen, wenn sie ein Zuhause gefunden hat.
- Reist gechipt und geimpft (EU Impfpass; Impfungen: Tollwut und Grundimmunisierung).
- Alle Hunde werden bei ihrer Ankunft im Shelter sowie anschließend mindestens einmal jährlich gegen Darmparasiten und Ektoparasiten behandelt.
- Die geschilderten Verhaltensbeobachtungen basieren auf dem Alltag im Shelter und können sich in einem häuslichen Umfeld unter veränderten Lebensbedingungen entsprechend anders darstellen.
- Der Transport (angemeldet mit Traces) wird von uns, so weit es für das Bestimmungsland rechtlich möglich ist, organisiert und durchgeführt. Bitte beachten Sie die Informationen auf dieser Seite: Vermittlung und Transport

Meda was rescued in an extremely emaciated condition — a sight that breaks your heart. Despite everything she has likely been through, she has kept her gentle and kind nature. She is currently living with Georgiana, where she shows herself to be a calm, friendly, and loving little dog who simply longs to finally feel safe.
Meda is already spayed and gets along very well with other dogs as well as cats. She is not a pushy or overly confident dog; instead, she tends to observe new situations quietly before joining in. Once she begins to trust, her sweet and gentle personality truly shines through.
She has a shortened tail, which does not cause her any health issues. However, because of this, entry into Switzerland is unfortunately not possible.
For Meda, we are looking for a loving and patient home with people who will give her the time she needs to settle in at her own pace. A home where she will be treated with kindness, understanding, and compassion, and where she can finally learn what it means to live a safe, happy, and cherished life.
- Is currently still in Romania and may leave when she has found a home.
- Will travel microchipped and vaccinated (EU pet passport; vaccinations include rabies and basic immunization).
- All dogs are treated for intestinal parasites and ectoparasites upon arrival at the shelter and at least once a year thereafter.
- The described behavioral observations are based on daily life in the shelter and may differ in a home environment under changed living conditions.
