Othellos Pate werden

Othello, geboren ca. 2020, ca. 55 cm Schulterhöhe, im Shelter seit 02/2025

 

Othello wurde gemeinsam mit mehreren anderen Hunden in erbärmlichem Zustand aus einem öffentlichen Tierheim gerettet. Vor Menschen hat der hübsche Rüde mit den sanften Augen große Angst und erwartet nichts positives, was uns aufgrund seiner Herkunft leider wenig verwundert. Aktuell braucht er noch Zeit, um sich zu erholen, wird aber hoffentlich irgendwann bereit sein für ein eigenes Zuhause.

 

Wenn er so weit ist wünschen wir uns für ihn ein Zuhause bei einfühlsamen und erfahrenen Menschen, die ihm in Ruhe und ohne Zeitdruck oder Erwartungshaltung zeigen, was ein gutes Hundeleben ist. Es sollte okay sein, wenn er nie wie ein normaler Hund Gassi gehen oder kuscheln will. Vielleicht ist er dann für die eine oder andere positive Überraschung gut. Ein sicher eingezäunter Garten mit direktem Zugang zum Haus ist Grundvoraussetzung. Da Othello nur schlechte Vermittlungschancen hat, würden wir uns sehr freuen, wenn jemand eine Patenschaft für ihn übernimmt.

  • aktuell noch in Rumänien und darf ausreisen, wenn er ein Zuhause gefunden hat 
  • gechipt und geimpft (EU Impfpass; Impfungen: Tollwut + Grundimmunisierung)
  • Alle Hunde werden bei ihrer Ankunft im Shelter und danach mindestens jährlich entwurmt und entfloht.

Othello was rescued from a public shelter together with several other dogs in a pitiful condition. The handsome male with the gentle eyes is terrified of people and doesn't expect anything positive, which unfortunately comes as no surprise to us given his background. He currently needs time to recover, but will hopefully be ready for a home of his own at some point.

 

When he is ready, we would like him to find a home with sensitive and experienced people who will show him what a good dog's life is like in peace and without time pressure or expectations. It should be okay if he never wants to go for a walk or cuddle like a normal dog. Perhaps he will then be good for a positive surprise or two. A securely fenced garden with direct access to the house is a basic requirement. As Othello has poor chances of being adopted, we would be very happy if someone would sponsor him.

  • All dogs are dewormed and deflead on arrival at the shelter and at least once a year thereafter.
