Pauline, geboren ca. 2023, kastriert, ca. 30 cm Schulterhöhe, im Shelter seit 03/2026

 

Pauline ist eine kleine, besondere Hündin mit kurzen Beinchen und einem zarten Wesen. Mit ihren etwa 30 cm Schulterhöhe ist sie klein, wirkt aktuell aber noch etwas verunsichert und braucht Menschen, die ihr mit viel Ruhe und Geduld begegnen.

Von den Hunden aus ihrer Gruppe zeigt Pauline sich derzeit am zurückhaltendsten. Sie ist gut anfassbar und rennt nicht weg, wenn man sie streichelt, doch man merkt ihr deutlich an, dass sie der Nähe noch nicht ganz traut. Beim Streicheln schaut sie oft unsicher zur Seite, als müsse sie erst noch verstehen, dass ihr nichts passiert.

Trotz ihrer Unsicherheit zeigt Pauline keine Panik. Sie bleibt da, lässt Kontakt zu und macht damit bereits erste kleine Schritte in Richtung Vertrauen. Mit Zeit, Geduld und liebevoller Zuwendung wird sie bestimmt lernen menschliche Nähe mehr und mehr genießen zu können.

Für Pauline wünschen wir uns ein einfühlsames Zuhause, in dem sie in ihrem Tempo ankommen darf. Menschen mit Geduld, Verständnis und einem ruhigen Umgang werden ihr helfen, Sicherheit zu gewinnen und langsam aufzublühen.

 

Wir wünschen uns für sie ein liebevolles und geduldiges Zuhause, in dem man ihm mit Ruhe, Fairness und Einfühlungsvermögen die Grundlagen eines erfüllten Hundelebens vermittelt.

  • Befindet sich aktuell in Rumänien und darf ausreisen, wenn sie ein Zuhause gefunden hat.
  • Reist gechipt und geimpft (EU Impfpass; Impfungen: Tollwut und Grundimmunisierung).
  • Alle Hunde werden bei ihrer Ankunft im Shelter sowie anschließend mindestens einmal jährlich gegen Darmparasiten und Ektoparasiten behandelt.
  • Die geschilderten Verhaltensbeobachtungen basieren auf dem Alltag im Shelter und können sich in einem häuslichen Umfeld unter veränderten Lebensbedingungen entsprechend anders darstellen.
  • Der Transport (angemeldet mit Traces) wird von uns, so weit es für das Bestimmungsland rechtlich möglich ist, organisiert und durchgeführt. Bitte beachten Sie die Informationen auf dieser Seite: Vermittlung und Transport

Pauline is a small, special dog with short legs and a gentle nature. Standing at around 30 cm at the shoulder, she is small, but currently still seems a little insecure and needs people who will approach her with plenty of calm and patience.

Of the dogs in her group, Pauline is currently the most reserved. She is easy to handle and doesn’t run away when you stroke her, but you can clearly tell that she doesn’t quite trust being close to people yet. When being stroked, she often looks uncertainly to the side, as if she still needs to understand that nothing bad will happen to her.

Despite her uncertainty, Pauline does not panic. She stays put, allows contact and is thus already taking her first small steps towards trust. With time, patience and loving care, she will certainly learn to enjoy human closeness more and more.

We are looking for a sensitive home for Pauline, where she can settle in at her own pace. People with patience, understanding and a calm manner will help her to gain confidence and slowly blossom.

  • Is currently still in Romania and may leave when she has found a home.
  • Will travel microchipped and vaccinated (EU pet passport; vaccinations include rabies and basic immunization).
  • All dogs are treated for intestinal parasites and ectoparasites upon arrival at the shelter and at least once a year thereafter.
  • The described behavioral observations are based on daily life in the shelter and may differ in a home environment under changed living conditions.
